Local Wayne History
Located in downtown Wayne, the Wayne Historical Museum is a free, volunteer-run city history museum and archive. It maintains more than 100 exhibits on the history of Wayne.
The Wayne Historical Society was founded in 1956 to promote, collect and preserve the history of the city of Wayne, Michigan. The society works in partnership with the city of Wayne to run the Wayne Historical Museum.
