New Storybook Trail

There’s a new family-friendly attraction in Wayne—a Storybook Trail at Attwood Park! The Storybook Trail is an innovative and delightful way for children and adults to enjoy reading and being outdoors at the same time. Pages from a children’s book are displayed on signs along a paved path in the park so families can read and walk together. Each sign along the half-mile loop includes a suggested activity or question to encourage conversation, imagination, and critical thinking. If you love a book you read on the Storybook Trail, be sure to visit the library and check out a copy to read again at home!

The Storybook Trail at Attwood Park is made possible by a collaboration with Wayne RESA, the City of Wayne, and the Wayne Public Library. The books along the path will change on a regular basis, so visit often!
