New Mobile App

Using the library just got a whole lot more convenient with our new Wayne Public Library app! To download this free app, just click here or search for “Wayne Public Library MI” (be sure to include the “MI”) in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You’ll be able to use the WPL app to search for items, manage your loans and holds, quickly view upcoming events, and much more!

One great features of the library’s app is the “My Barcode” feature, which will save a digital version of your library card. No more forgetting your library card at home—if you’ve got your phone, you’ve got your card! The “Scan ISBN Barcode” option can also be really helpful—it allows you to scan the barcode on any book to search for it in the library’s catalog. If you’ve ever been out in the world and thought, “Oh, I should remember to check and see if the library has this book,” this feature is a total game changer. You can scan a book, see what libraries own it, and put it on hold in a matter of seconds.
