Paws For Reading

Buddy is a well-trained therapy dog that is waiting to have you read him a story at the Wayne Public Library.

Register at the Youth Desk for a 10 minute session to read your favorite book to Buddy!

Books and Cookies

Grades 4-6
Tuesday, February 18
4:15 - 5 p.m.

Join us for this fun-filled book club where you read the book on your own then get together with friends at the library to discuss the book, do a book related activity, and enjoy a snack.

The book you will read is Samantha Spinner and the Super-Secret Plans by Russell Ginns. Get ready for round-the-world adventure with Sam Spinner and her brother Nipper in the first book in a new hilarious, puzzle-packed series filled with super-secret messages1

Please register at the youth desk. The first 4 children to sign up for the book club will receive a free copy of the book.

A Journey to the Ballot Box

Saturday, February 22
3 - 4 p.m.

Join us as we celebrate Black History Month. We'll read Granddaddy's Turn: A Journey to the Ballot Box together, then share in a discussion about the struggle for the right to vote. Finally, we'll make a craft related to this important subject.

This program is recommended for children over age 6. Children under 10 must have an adult caregiver present.
