Knit and Crochet Nights

Thursday Evenings August 8, September 12, October 24 and November 14
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Bring any of your knitting or crocheting supplies and enjoy a casual meet-up with fellow crafters. Knit and Crochet Nights run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. but you're free to drop in at any point during that time to get to know other attendees and to work on your projects.

This is an adult program but teens are welcome to join in as well!

November Is National Novel Writing Month

Thursdays on November 7, 14, and 21
5:15 - 7:45 p.m. (drop in any time)

The Wayne Public Library will be hosting a casusal write-in event on Thursday evenings throughout the month of November. NaNoWriMo (Naitonal Novel Writing Month) is an annual writing challenge that encourages participants to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November.

Bring your writing supplies and curent project to get some work done with your fellow writers!

Wreath Making

Have you ever admired the paper wreath behind the library's circulation desk? Join us to learn how to create your own decorative wreath that you can take home. All materials will be provided.

Space is limited so registration is required. Please sign up at the Adult Reference Desk or by calling 734-721-7832 ext. 630.

Gift Wrapping Night

Thursday, December 19
5 - 7 p.m.

Bring your presents from home and get all your wrapping done at once! We'll provide the tables, gift wrap, tape, and bows.


Saturday, December 21
1 p.m.

Join us on Saturday, December 21 at 1 p.m. to watch the movie Elf, starring Will Ferrell!

When Buddy was a baby, he was adopted by well-meaning elves at the North Pole. Unfortunately, when he grows up his un-elf-like stature becomes disruptive to life at the North Pole. He is then sent to Manhattan to find his human roots. The movie is rated PG and has a runtime of 97 minutes.

Snacks will be provided!
